Greatest Film of All Time, June 20, 2005
This is probably one of the greatest films of all time, but do we
really need another movie about a black guy teaching a white guy how to
dance? Quite frankly, I don't really think my dancing has ever been
called into question by a prospective date. Most of the time, dancing
is synonymous with large amounts of alcohol, next to police cars at 2
in the morning.
But in the traditional of "You Got Served," "Shall We Dance," comes
"Hitch"...another movie about the boring and overrated hobby of
dancing. I work in Hollywood and when I get writer's block during a
script, I am told to add a dance number to fill the time lapse and
create trailer-worthy clips. It's not that dancing has gotten any more
popular, but that screenwriters have gotten more lazy.
Now, I'm sure you're thinking, "Sheesh! I can't believe he's
suggesting that Will Smith can't dance!" I'm sure he's a fine dancer,
but the truth is, it's not in my best interests to learn how to dance,
nor watch a farce involving subject a) Will Smith, teaching me, a fat
balding white man how to "get jiggy with it."

Hotplay, June 20, 2005
I am from the band, Hotplay, whose song "Green" was maliciously stolen
with a zip drive by the deviant Chris Martin. The rest is history. Now
Coldplay returns with another rip off album, X & Y, to spout their
obsession with the most boring of issues, Fair Trade, and Chris
Martin's fears for the future of their child, whose name is a walking
advertisement for a computer manufacturing corporation who pre-sold
their album on ITunes without a preview so as to get as many sales as
possible.
Now everyone has this album, and no one is talking about it.
Instead, we sweep it under the rug, sorry that we blind bought an album
we believed would be great but ashamed of our corporate-whoring selves.
In revolt of Chris Martin and his pompous relationship with a B
actress, I am calling that everyone boycott Coldplay and attend Hotplay
concerts this summer!
